Privacy Policy

Thank you for visiting our online shop. The protection of your privacy is extremely important to us. In this privacy policy, we provide detailed information on how we handle your data.

1. Access Data and Hosting

You can visit our website without providing any personal details. Every time you visit a website, the web server merely automatically stores a server log file, which contains, e.g., the name of the requested file, your IP address, the date and time of access, the transferred data volume and the querying provider (access data), and documents the access.

This access data is analyzed exclusively for the purposes of ensuring fault-free operation of the site and to optimize our website. In accordance with Art. 6(1)(1)(f) of the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), this is carried out for the purposes of our overriding legitimate interest in ensuring our website is presented correctly as determined through a weighing of interests. All access data is erased seven days after the end of your site visit at the latest.

Hosting Services Provided by a Third Party
Within the scope of processing on our behalf, a third party provides website hosting and presentation services for us. This is carried out for the purposes of our overriding legitimate interest in ensuring our website is presented correctly as determined through a weighing of interests. All data that is collected during use of this website or the forms provided in the online shop as described below is processed on this third-party provider’s servers. Processing only takes place on other servers within the scope defined in this privacy policy.

This service provider is based in a country within the European Union or the European Economic Area.

2. Data Collection and Use for Contract Performance and When Opening a Customer Account

We collect personal data when you provide it to us voluntarily when placing an order, when contacting us (e.g., via the contact form or email), or when opening a customer account. Mandatory fields are labeled as such because, in these cases, we require the data for the purposes of contract performance or to process your inquiry or open your customer account and, if you do not provide such data, you will not be able to place the order and/or open an account, or send the inquiry. The data collected is specified in the relevant input forms. We use the data that you provide in accordance with Art. 6(1)(1)(b) GDPR for the purposes of contract performance and for processing your inquiries. Following performance of the contract or deletion of your customer account, your data will be restricted with respect to any further processing and erased once any retention periods under tax or commercial law have expired, unless you have expressly consented to the further use of your data or we reserve the right to further use of the data where this is permitted by law and we have informed you accordingly in this policy. You may delete your customer account at any time either by notifying us via the contact details provided below or by using the relevant function in the customer account.

3. Data Transfer

For the purposes of contract performance in accordance with Art. 6(1)(1)(b) GDPR, we will pass on your data to the shipping company commissioned to carry out the delivery where this is required in order to deliver the ordered goods. Depending on the payment service provider that you select during the order process, in order to process the payment, we will pass on the payment details collected for this purpose to the credit institution commissioned to handle the payment and, where applicable, to the payment service provider we have commissioned or the selected payment service. The selected payment service providers may also collect this data themselves if you create an account with them. In this case, you will need to log into your account with the payment service provider using your login details during the order process. The privacy policy of the relevant payment service provider applies in this respect.

4. Email Newsletter

Email Advertising with Subscription to Newsletter

If you subscribe to our newsletter, we will use the data required for this purpose or specifically provided by you in order to regularly send you our email newsletter based on your consent in accordance with Art. 6(1)(1)(a) GDPR.

You may unsubscribe from the newsletter at any time either by notifying us via the contact details provided below or by using the link provided for this purpose in the newsletter. When you unsubscribe, we will erase your email address unless you have given your express consent to the further use of your data or we reserve the right to further use of the data where this is permitted by law and we have informed you accordingly in this policy.

The newsletter is sent by a service provider, to whom we provide your email address for this purpose, within the scope of processing on our behalf.
This service provider is based in a country within the European Union or the European Economic Area.

This is carried out for the purposes of our overriding legitimate interest in ensuring the optimal presentation of our website as determined through a weighing of interests in accordance with Art. 6(1)(1)(f) GDPR. Google (Universal) Analytics uses methods that enable an analysis of your use of the website, such as cookies. The anonymized IP address transmitted by your browser in the context of Google Analytics will not generally be combined with other data from Google. When the purpose ceases to apply and when we stop using Google Analytics, the data collected in this context will be erased.
